Frequently asked questions

Which areas do you cover?
See the areas page. When you book, we check your pincode or location; if no service area covers it, we tell you before you submit.
How quickly can a doctor visit?
That depends on which verified doctors are available in your area at the time you choose. You will be notified as soon as a doctor accepts your request.
How much does a home visit cost?
The fee is shown before you confirm the booking. It depends on the service and the doctor. Any approved promo or referral discount is shown separately.
What is the visit code (OTP)?
When the doctor arrives, you receive a one-time code by SMS or WhatsApp. Share it only with the doctor in front of you. It confirms the visit took place and protects you from being charged for a visit that did not happen.
Can I cancel?
Yes. You can cancel from "My bookings" before the cut-off time shown in our cancellation and refund policy.
Who can see my health readings and reports?
You, the doctor on your active visit, and doctors you authorise in "My health". Administrators do not browse your medical records. Every access is logged.
Are prescriptions valid at pharmacies?
Prescriptions are issued and signed by the treating doctor and show their registration number. Draft prescriptions are clearly marked and are not valid for dispensing.
I am a doctor. How do I join?
Use Join as a doctor. You will be asked for your registration details and documents; you can receive visit requests once our team has verified them.
What should I do in an emergency?
Do not use DocAtDoor. Call 112 or go to the nearest hospital.
